Woodrow Doyle Wells

We are saddened to announce the passing of Woodrow Doyle Wells in his 80th year at the South Shore Villa. Formerly of Miminegash.

Spouse of 23 years to Angela Ellsworth of Miminegash.

Brother to Fraser Wells, Charlottetown, Bob Wells, Annie King, and Roddie Wells , Newfoundland.

Left to mourn are his children, Bonnie Wells, Ontario, Dennis, Halifax, Trevor, Travis, Summerside, April O'Halloran, Summerside and Shawna Ellsworth Montague.

He was Gramps to Brodie and Brenden (Shawna), Jaxon (Trevor), Lilee, Ava and Ella (Travis) and Nikki and Mae (April).

Woodrow was predeceased by son George (Halifax) and his parents Miriam Penny and Doyle Wells (Newfoundland). Woodrow was predeceased by many of his family in Newfoundland. May prayers and condolences be with them.

Woodrow was born in Newfoundland , but called Miminegash home for many years. He worked many years at Hutt Brothers Boat Building until his retirement in 2005 He always enjoyed watching wrestling and cutting the grass with the ride on mower.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Co-op, 522 Thomson Rd.

Visiting hours on Tuesday from 1pm til time of funeral.

Burial will take place on Tuesday July 11 at 2pm,at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Palmer Rd.
