Willard Joseph Ellsworth

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces that the death occurred suddenly at his home on Saturday June 8, 2024 of Willard Joseph Ellsworth of Tignish aged 66. Willard was the son of the late Wilbert and Rita(Ready) Ellsworth of Christopher Cross.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Gladys(Terry) Kenny, Waterford, Joyce(late David) Jones,Tignish, Charlotte(Norman) Perry, Tignish, Vernon, Christopher Cross, Floyd(Gail) Christopher Cross, Margaret(Mark)Parent, Amherst,NS and Rosalie(late Albin Arsenault) Christopher Cross.

Willard will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by his parents Wilbert and Rita and by his sisters Brenda and Margaret.

Willard will also be missed by his many friends and co-workers at the Tignish Co-op where he was a dedicated employee for 43 years. He loved his job and even after retirement went back to work a couple days a week. If you couldn't find something Willard was the guy to ask,he had lots of jokes to share and always a smile.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home , 522 Thompson Rd.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9pm

Funeral will be Friday June 14 at 2:00 pm at St. Simon and St.Jude Church, Tignish.

Interment in St. Simon and St.Jude Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations to Tignish Health Center would be greatly

appreciated.
