Wilbert J. Ellsworth

The death occurred suddenly at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Friday, February 1, 2008 of Wilbert Ellsworth formerly of Norway aged 85 years. He was born in Skinners Pond on July 19, 1922 the son of the late John and Catherine (Knox) Ellsworth. Dear father of Gladys (Terry) Kenny, Waterford; Joyce (David) Jones, Tignish; Charlotte (Norman) Perry, Toronto, Ont.; Willard, Tignish; Vernon, Norway; Floyd (Marilyn), Norway; Margaret (Marc) Parent, Georgetown, Ont. and Rosalie, Norway. Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Rita Connick, Amherst; Winnifred Gould, Charlottetown; Levina Luttrell, Sudbury, Ont. a brother Albert (Chris), Montague and sisters-in-law Edna Ellsworth, Palmer Road and Shirley Ellsworth of Skinners Pond. He was predeceased by his parents John and Catherine, wife Rita, daughters Brenda, Margaret Ann in infancy, sisters Coletta, Florence and Mary, brothers Preston, Joseph, Pius and Patrick. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral will be held Monday at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 10:30 am. Memorial donations to the Maplewood Manor, Western Hospital Equipment Fund or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
