The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton on Thursday, August 15, 2024 of Wanda Doucette of Alberton, and formally of St. Louis aged 91 years.
She was born in St. Louis on July 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Bazil and Winnifred (Poirier) Doucette. Dear mother of Melanie Woodburn (Robert).
She is survived by sisters Lorraine Albert (late Edlow), Marie Birtley (Paul), Velda Gallant (George), sister-in-law Irene Doucette and brother-in-law Joey Harper.
She is also leaving behind a number of neices and nephews that she had very special connections with.
She was predeceased by parents Bazil and Winnifred, brothers Austin and Alfred, sisters Violet, Yvonne, and Clara Mae in infancy.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road
visiting hours Monday 7-9 p.m.
Funeral will be held Tuesday August 20, 2024 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m.
Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of PEI.
