The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Friday January 13, 2017 surrounded by family of Velton J. Thibodeau of St. Louis aged 83 years.
Husband of the late Winnifred Thibodeau nee McCue.
He was born in St. Edward on February 14, 1933, the son of the late Frederick and Alma (Perry) Thibodeau.
Dear father to Carolyn (Clarence) Dunn, Alma; Adrain Thibodeau, St. Edward; Gary Thibodeau, St. Louis; Debbie Thibodeau (Leo Kinch), St. Louis and Dale (Beverly) Thibodeau, St. Louis.
Loving grandfather to Jamie, Stephen, Christopher, Raeanne, Joel, Willa, Patricia, Darcy, Tyler, Wyatt, Sara-Beth, Tessa, Taylor and 9 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by brothers and sisters Wilcy (late Alice), Roy (Dorothy), Wilbert (Arlene), Arthur, Winnie Dorth, Delia Gaudet, Maryann (Steve) Smith and Alice (Ronnie) Jones.
He was predeceased by parents Frederick and Alma, wife Winnifred, grandson Rodney, Twila and sister Milda .
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road for visiting hours Monday 6-9 PM and Tuesday from 1:30-2:30 PM.
Funeral will be held Tuesday January 17, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 3 PM.
Memorial donations toward funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
Interment will take place at a later date.
