Stella Mary Gaudet

The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital in O'Leary on July 2, 2023, of Stella Mary Gaudet of Tignish formerly of Leoville aged 98 years. She was the wife of the late Edmond R Gaudet and last surviving member of the family of the late Peter and Jane Poirier.

Stella is lovingly remembered by her children, David(Diane) Ajax, Ont., Brenda ,Summerside ,Paula(Steve) Summerside, Betty (Ronnie) St.Felix, Emelda(Albert) St.Felix, Barb(Allen) Wellington ,Claudette(Ed) Ascension, Bernadette(Jerome), Leoville, Joanne(Tony), Charlottetown , and Rick(Lisa) Tignish.

Also survived by her 12 Grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah, Daniel, Andrea, David, Patrick, Rochelle, Maria, Anthony, Deanna, Ben and Samantha. Also by 14 Great Grandchildren.

Also left to Mourn her passing are several of her "chosen" daughters, a Large number of Nieces and Nephews, and her many, many Friends.

Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd, for visitation on Wednesday July 5th 6:00-9:00 pm and Thursday July 6th from 1:30 -3:00 pm. Funeral will take place on Thursday July 6th at 3:30 pm. at Immaculate Conception Church , Palmer Rd. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Father Lazaru is the Officiant.

Donations in Stella's memory can be made to the O'leary Community Health Foundation.

Following the funeral there will be a reception at the St.Louis Community Hall 3563 Union Road.

Palmer Road CWL will hold a service Wednesday July 5th at 5:45pm.
