Sgt. Paul E. Deveaux

The death occurred suddenly at St. Felix on Friday February 10, 2006 of Sgt. Paul Deveaux (ret) of St. Felix aged 62 years. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen Deveaux nee Perry. He was born on November 25, 1943 to Semi John and Elizabeth (Muise) Deveaux. Dear father of Jean Paul (Melissa) of Halifax, N.S. and David (Fiance Jackie O'Connell) of Dartmouth, N.S. Brother of Andre (Yvette) Moncton, N.B.; Ernest (Daphne) St. John's, Nfld and Noella Chaisson, New Waterford, N.S.. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Suzanne Gaudet, Cheticamp, N.S., Sr. Theresa Perry, Tignish, Rita Poirier, Stratford, Alice Mokler, St. Louis, Anita Arsenault, Tignish and Jenny MacDougall, Summerside. brothers-in-law Nelson and Alphy Perry, St Edward, Maurice Poirier, Bloomfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Semi John and Elizabeth, in-laws Joseph (Leffie) and Aldine Poirier, step father Joseph D. Gaudet, half brothers Alphonse and Daniel, brother-in-law Melvin Chaisson. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Monday at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 10:30 am. Interment to take place at a later date in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palmer Road or Tignish Knights of Columbus or to a charity of your choice.
