The death occurred suddenly at home in St. Peter & St. Paul on Wednesday August 6, 2014 of Roger J. Martin aged 71 years.
He was born in Tignish on June 11, 1943, the son of the late Ralph and Alice (Doucette) Martin.
Dear brother to Eunice (Melvin) Bernard, Summerside; Jerome (Rena) Martin, B. C.; Omer (Charlene) Martin, St. Felix; Armand (Julia) Martin, St. Peter & St. Paul; Lucille McPhail, Ontario; Marina (Donnie) Doucette, Nail Pond and Lester (Doris) Martin, Wellington.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Alice, a son Kenny in 2005.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. No visiting hours as a personal request. Funeral will be held Monday August 11, 2014 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish where funeral mass will be celebrated by Rev. Brendan Gallant at 10:30 a.m.
Cremated remains will be interred in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations to St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
