Philip Joseph Allain

The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Wednesday February 23, 2022, surrounded by family, of Philip J. Allain, Miminegash aged 85 years.

Beloved husband of Carmen (Carragher) Allain.

He was born in St. Edward on August 23, 1936, the son of the late Benjamin and Denise (Gaudet) Allain.

Dear father to Michelle Allain (Kevin Doucette), Tignish, Michael Allain (Geraldine), Milburn. Loving grandfather to Carley Allain, Bobbi - Jean Boylan and Amy MacMillan.

Dear brother to Joe Allain, Nelda Arsenault, Phillis Gaudet (Henry), Clifford Allain (Cindy), Wayne Allain (Christine).

He is also survived by sister-in-law Olive Allain and Carragher brothers and sisters-in-law Shirley Murphy, Anna Doucette, Nellie Chaisson, Faye Doucette, David Carragher, Wilma Morrissey, Roger Carragher and Marcel Carragher.

He was predeceased by parents Ben and Denise, sisters Jane, brothers Gerald and Melvin, sisters-in-law Catherine Allain, Jean Allain, brothers-in-law George Arsenault, Freddie Dugay and Carragher-in-laws Audrey Tremblay, Alton, Jackie, Helen McCabe, Eric and Ricky.

Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. Public visiting hours (Vax Pass and Photo ID required) will be held Sunday 6-9 pm. Funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road Monday Feb. 28, 2022 with funeral mass at 2 pm.
