Patrick Leo Ellsworth

The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care unit of the O'leary Hospital on Tuesday May 28,2024 of Patrick Leo Ellsworth of Center Line Rd, aged 74.

Lovingly missed is his husband Freeman (Free) Stride.

Patrick was the son of the late John Leo and Dora(Gaudet) Ellswoth.

Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Lloyd(Norma),Cecelia(Joe) MacRae,Angela, Richard, Claudia(Francis) Gaudet ,Bernie, Nancy, Jacinta(Ralph) Getson, Janice(Randy) Adams, and Vicky(Darrell) Graham, along with numerous neices and nephews and friends.

Also fondly remembered by his Stride family and friends in Newfoundland.

Predeceased by his parents, John Leo and Dora, grandparents Wilfred and Yvonne Gaudet and Mary Ann and Thomas Ellsworth. Also predeceased by brothers Carl and Ron and sisters Bernice, Darlene and Mona.

Patrick had a love for his cats, gardening, the beach , cooking (but not cleaning) and feeding the birds.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home.

No visitation by personal request.

A grave side service will be held, on Wednesday June 12, at 11:00 am.

Interment in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the PEI Cat Action Team.
