The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday February 3, 2018 of Omar L. Chaisson, Tignish aged 91 years.
He was born in Tignish on October 26,1926, the son of the late Joseph John and Yvonne (Dionne) Chaisson.
He is survived by sons John Chaisson (Sarah), Summerside, Anthony Chaisson (Courtney), Grande Prairie, Alberta, Lee Chaisson, Kevin Chaisson (Jesse), Dwayne Chaisson, and daughter Karen Chaisson.
Loving grandfather to Parker, Piper and Leah.
He is also survived by sisters Imelda, Antoinette and Catherine.
He was predeceased by parents Joseph John and Yvonne, son Vince, sisters Yvette, Anita, brothers Theophile, Romeo and Alfred.
Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. No visiting hours as a personal request.
Funeral will be held Saturday February 10, 2018 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Celebrant Rev. Brendan Gallant.
Memorial donations to Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. Luncheon will follow at parish center.
Interment at a later date in St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery, Tignish.
