May M. Gallant

The death occurred peacefully at the home of her daughter Janet surrounded by her loving family on June 6, 2010 of May Margaret Gallant of Summerside and formerly of St. Edward aged 71 years. Daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mary Ann Gallant.

Loving mother to the late Lorna (Ronnie) Gallant, Pleasant View; Barb (Charlie) MacKie, Covehead; Marty (Donna) Koughan, Stratford, Frank (Anne) Koughan, Charlottetown; Janet (Pat) Kelly, Summerside; Larry (Kim) Koughan, Charlottetown. May enjoyed and adored her 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Audrey (Allen) Arsenault, St Edward; Joe (Barb) Gallant, Howlan; Evelyn (Albert) Whalen, St. Louis; Gerard (Bernadette) Gallant and Edlow (Alice) Gallant of St. Edward; Emile (Cathy) Gallant, Ontario; Julie Ramsey and Johnny Gallant both of Charlottetown.

She was predeceased by her parents, daughter Lorna Gallant, granddaughter Kristen Koughan, great grandson Colten Leard, godson J.J. Gallant and nephew Paul Whalen.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral will be held Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 am. Interment in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Haley Gallant Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated.
