At the Western Hospital, Alberton on Thursday April 30, 2015 of Mary Gladys Kennedy of Waterford, PEI aged 100 years.

She was born in Skinners Pond on April 16, 1915, The daughter of the late Tim and Amelia (Arsenault) Myers.

Angela (Vaughn), Dartmouth, N.S.; Reta (Gerald), Halifax, N.S.; John (Linda), Waterford, PEI and Earl, Waterford, PEI.

Loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She is survived by brother Russell (Mac) Myers and sister Vinie (Cyril) Arsenault of Tignish,

She was predeceased by husband Austin, daughter Patsy, sisters Sadie, Eleanor, Dora, Jean and Norma, brothers Jerome, Leslie, Guy, Elmer, Chester, Joseph and Peter.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. No visitation by person request.

Funeral mass will take place on Saturday May 16, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m.

Interment in the church cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Tignish Senior Home or to the Palmer Road Church Restoration Fund would be greatly appreciated.

A reception will follow at the community centre.
