Louis P. Perry

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 of Louis P. Perry of Pleasant View aged 85 years. Veteran of the 2nd World War. Beloved husband of Rita Perry nee Doucette. He was born in Skinners Pond on Sept. 6, 1921 to Peter M. and Lucy (Arsenault) Perry. Dear father to Ernest (Cheryl) Stratford, PEI, Omer (Ellen), Pleasant View, Austin (Donna), Pleasant View, Gary, Pleasant View and Alberta, Francis, Fredericton, NB and Lori Anne (Danny) Keough, Christopher's Cross. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Edgar (Noreen) of Shinners Pond. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Lucy, brothers Ben, Willie, Leslie, Francis (Doc), Leo, Wilfred and Jack, sisters Tillie, Mae and Bertha. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Children's Wish Foundation or Tignish Seniors Home Care Co-op would be greatly appreciated. The Tignish Legion members will hold a remembrance service at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm.
