Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital Alberton, on Sunday April 21st, 2024 with his loving family by his side of Lee Doucette of Alberton, aged 78 years.

Beloved and devoted partner of Barb Gaudet.

Cherished Father of Barrie(Amanda) of Woodville,NS, Cassie(Nick), of Waterville,NS. Special Pepe to Beau, Levi, Eliot, and Abel.

Born in Deblois on March 15,1946, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Emma(nee Poirier)Doucette.

Dear brother to Anita(late Gerry) of Hamilton,Ont. Lucy(late Albert) of Tignish, Lawrence (Louise) Moncton,NB. Vincent(Alma) Tignish, Raymond,of Toronto, Louis of Coburg Ont, Jean(Matt Roop) of Wyomming, Ont, Richard of Toronto, Wilbert(Eileen), Deblois, Rosalie(Vincent) Harper Rd, Victor(Cathy) Harper rd, and Sister in law Sylvia of Cascumpec.

He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Lee will be fondly and lovingly remembered by all of Barb's immediate and extended family.

Lee was predeceased by his parents Joseph W.and Emma. A baby boy,Nicholas, brothers Paul and Francis and Sister Cecelia, also by Brothers in law Peter and Gerry.

Lee served in The Canadian Navy for 3 years, lived and worked in Toronto, where he served as Auxiliary Police Officer for the Toronto Police Force.

Lee spent the rest of his working career working for Pepsi, where he made many acquaintances along the way.

Lee enjoyed his retirement being on the water, riding his motorcycle and countless trips travelling around the Maritimes.

One of his greatest joys was Captaining Wes Armour's yacht for over 20 years.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd.

No visitation by personal request.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday May 4th,2024 at

St. Simon and St.Jude Church, Tignish at 2:30pm

There will be a reception at Tignish Parish Center following the burial.

If so desired memorial donations can be made to the St.Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund.
