Leona M Delaney

The death occurred suddenly at the Rev. W. J Phillips Residence Alberton, on Sunday, July 31, 2022, of Leona M Delaney, aged 66 years. She was born in Palmer Road North on January 22, 1956, the daughter of the late William I and Mary Ann (Gallant) Doucette.

Loving mother to Clayton (Karianne) St. Edward, Kevin (Roxanne) Palmer Road, Daisy (Melvin) St. Edward, Richie (Tara) Hebron, and Michael (Jenna) St. Louis. Cherished grandmother to Rylie, Brooke, Griffin, Harrison, Jorja, Kayden, Charlotte, Jace, Hudson and Summer.

Dear sister to Louisa (late Melvin) Arsenault, Toronto, Julia (late Melvin) Doucette, Alberton, Marie (Doug) Woodcox, Ottawa, Thelma (Gussie) Doucette, Pleasant View, Joseph Doucette, Summerside, Paul (Sandra) Doucette, Summerside and David (Pat) Doucette, Palmer Road and a sister-in-law Sandra Doucette, Kensington.

She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Ann, sisters, Lydia, Jeanette, and Julia in infancy, brother Aldon and Victor.

Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, for visiting hours, Wednesday 7-9 pm. Funeral will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 10:30 am. Celebrant Lazaru Panthagani.

Memorial donations to Rev. W. J Phillips Activity Fund or to the Immaculate Conception Cemetery fund would be greatly appreciated.

Interment in the church cemetery.
