Leo (Leigh) Lloyd Doucette
The death occurred suddenly on September 17, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, Ontario of Leo (Leigh) Lloyd Doucette age 67. He was born in Palmer Road and was the son of the late Leo A. and Josephine (Gallien) Doucette. He leaves behind his wife Rose Richard and children Christopher and Sarah, his granddaughter SheaLynn who was the apple of his eye as well as a special great niece Ashley Nelligan.
Left to mourn are his brothers Emmanuel (Lorette) of Summerside, Roy (JoAnne) of Ontario, David, Sea Cow Pond, Kevin (Evanne) of Palmer Road. His sisters Jean (Lloyd Mallard) Firth of Charlottetown, Dott (Stephen) Gallant of Tignish and brother-in-law Leonard Richard of Tignish.
He will greatly be missed by the Richard Family and his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Johnny and Paul and his sisters Julia Richard and Joan-Anne. His nephew Paul Nelligan and great nephew Alex Nelligan
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Simon and St. Jude church in Tignish, PEI on September 30, 2022, at 3:00pm. Celebrant Fr. John Molina.
Service will be live streamed on Facebook, StSimon StJude at 3:00pm Atlantic time.
