Laura B. Costain

The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on Sunday December 27, 2020, surrounded by family, of Laura Costain, St. Lawrence aged 88 years.

Wife of the late Marne Costain.

She was born in Miminegash on December 18, 1932, the daughter of the late Peter and Janie (Deagle) Murphy.

Dear mother to Wendy Profit (Alphonse), David and Debbie Dunn (Raeburn).

Loving grandmother to Joseph, Rebecca, Vicki Webster and Scott Profit, Raeanne Gallant, Gary, Marney, Andy and Ian Dunn, Emmanuel, Logan, Amanda and Trinity Costain, great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is also survived by brothers and sisters Marge Ripley, Janet Rielly (James), Hazel Howard (Alfred), Gerald Murphy (Bertha), Dorothy Butler (Ronnie), Mary Murphy, Barbara Riddler (Bob), Marlene Hogan (Robert), also survived by sisters-in-law Shirley Murphy and Phyllis Murphy, Norma MacInnis and brother-in-law Holland Costain (Adele).

She was predeceased by parents Peter and Janie, husband Marne, sisters Maria, Hariet, brothers Earl, Raymond, brother-in-law Bill Ripley.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. Due to restrictions, there will be no public viewing. Funeral mass for family and invited guests will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road Wednesday at 1 P.M.

Donations in Laura memory, can be made at Palliative Care Units of Community Hospital or Western Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

Interment in the church cemetery.
