Julia M. Bernard

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Tuesday November 10, 2020 , surrounded by her loving family of Julia M. Bernard, Tignish aged 81 years.

Beloved wife of the late Clifford Bernard.

She was born in DeBlois on November 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Leo and Loretta (Richard) Doucette.

Loving mother of Loretta Gallant (Paul), Tignish and Ross Bernard (Anna), Tignish.

Cherished grandmother to Luke and Lea Anne Bernard; great grandmother to Braden, Winter, Adam and Chaz.

Dear sister to Wilbert Doucette (Theresa), Florence Pitre (Alvin), Deborah Doucette and also survived by sisters-in-law Helen Doucette, Betty Doucette, Valma Bernard (Marlene), Freda Bernard (Mary) and special nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by parents Leo and Loretta, twin brothers Wilbert & Gilbert, James, Hector, Aubrey and sister Thelma, mother & father-in-law Edward and Ida, brothers and sisters-in-law Stella, Edgar, Bertha, Alvin, Ruth and Edna.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Thursday for family and invited guests from 12 – 2 p.m..

Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish at 2:30 p.m.

Memorial donations can be made at Tignish Health Centre or Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op it would be greatly appreciated.

Interment in the church cemetery.
