Josephine Gaudet

The death occurred suddenly at home in Pleasant View on Wednesday,November 15, 2006 of Josephine Gaudet aged 98 years. Wife of the late Jerry Gaudet and the late Wilfred Doucette. She was born in DeBlois September 29, 1908 to Henry and Eleanor (Poirier) Doucette. Dear mother to Eleanor (Chester) Stepien, St. Catherine, Ont., Delores Gallant, Miminegash, Ellen (Stanley) Marcynuk, St. Catherine, Ont., LeRoy (Eunice) Pleasant View and Owen (Carol) Summerside. Loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Dear sister to Leo (Lauretta) Doucette, Tignish and Lorette Richard, St. Louis. She was predeceased by her brothers Cyril, Alphy, Edmund, George, Freddie and Ernest. grandsons Barry Gallant and Ricky Marcynuk and a son-in-law Edward Gallant. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Saturday 9-10 am. Funeral mass will be held Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 am. Memorial donations to the Children's Wish Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
