Josephine Doucette

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Wednesday March 22, 2006 of Josephine Doucette of Pleasant View aged 93 years. She was born August 28, 1912 to the late Marguerite and Joseph Poirier. Wife of the late Leo Doucette. Dear mother of Rita (Louis) Perry, Pleasant View; Henry (Theresa) Summerside; Doris (and The late Emile) Gaudet, Pleasant View, Dorothy (Omer) Bernard, Skinners Pond; Leo Jr. (Doris), Pleasant View; Victor, Pleasant View, Gladys (Lloyd) Gorrill, Miscouche, Dianne (Victor) Hogan, Mill River East and Marlene (Ron) Stuart of Stanhope. Sister of John Poirier of New Hampshire, USA. Loving grandmother of 35 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Leo, brothers Henry and Arthur, son-in-law Emile and great grandson Shane Getson. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Saturday from 2-3 pm. Funeral Saturday with funeral mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 3:30 pm.
