Joseph "Donald" McKenna

The death occurred peacefully, with his family at his side of Joseph “Donald” McKenna of Inkerman Road, PEI and formerly of St. Louis, PEI on Thursday January 20, 2022.

Don, as his family and friends called him, was born to Roy and Helen McKenna on June 11, 1962 at Alberton Hospital. Don was suffering from the ravages of lung cancer and finally succumbed after enduring a two year battle.

Don is survived by his son Seth Getson-McKenna, daughter Sarah Dawn LeClair, partner Christine Getson, parents Roy and Helen, sister Nora (Angela), brothers Terry (Paulette), James, John (Kim), niece Nakea Barrie (Kyle and son Sora)

Resting at The West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road.

Services will be restricted to the immediate family. Private funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road Monday January 24, 2022 at 3 pm.

Interment later in the church cemetery.
