John Fitzgerald A'Hearn

The death occurred suddenly at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday December 16 2022,surrounded by his family ,of John F. A'Hearn "Big John". Loving husband to Gail(Morgan)A'Hearn, proud father of Nathan(Emiley) and Nicholas A'Hearn and devoted godfather to Jason, Matthew, Reese and Myles. Born in Alberton on July 19 1968,the son of Laura (Ellsworth) and the late Emmett A'Hearn. Dear brother to Gary (Shirley), Gail(the late David), Sally(Tom), Paula(Rod), Jimmy(Ida), Nancy(Roy), Emmett(Sherry) and the late Holly. Cherished uncle to many.

John married Gail, the love of his life, in St. Louis in 1987. "John and Gail" became synonymous and you would rarely see one with out the other. When they met ,John was immediately smitten by Gail. He pursued her for many months before she finally agreed to a date. They were married shortly after and the rest is history.

John was well known for many hobbies including his love of computers. He was a self-taught computer whiz and there wasn't a computer problem he couldn't solve. Eager to share his talents , he opened Big John's Computers in 2010 and became the go to repairman for West Prince

Resting at West Prince Funeral Home 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. Visiting hours Wednesday 5 - 8 pm. Funeral will be held Thursday December 22, 2022 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 1 pm. Celebrant Rev. John Molina.
