The death occurred at the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown on Monday July 23, 2012 of John Firth, Charlottetown aged 81 years.
Beloved husband of Jean (Doucette/Arsenault) Firth of Charlottetown.
John was born in Robinsonville, N.B. on October 20, 1931 to the late Murdock and Violet (Walker) Firth.
He is survived by eight step-children Joanne (David) Gosbee, New Haven; Betty Ann Arsenault, Ch'town; Nancy Marie Arsenault, Ch'town; Alfred (Darlene) Arsenault, Alberta; Cyril Arsenault, Ch'town; Leigh Arsenault (Margaret Ann Clow), Crapaud; Emmanuel Arsenault, Moncton and Billy (Paulette) Arsenault, Little Tignish.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Murdock and Violet, brothers Harry and Warden.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Tuesday from 1 until 2:30 pm. Funeral will be held Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 3 pm.
Interment in the church cemetery.
