The death occurred peacefully at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Tuesday June 9, 2020 of Ivan J. Doucette formerly of DeBlois aged 76 years.
Beloved husband of Austina (Gaudet) Doucette.
He was born in DeBlois on July 24, 1943, the son of Alphy and Marguerita (Allain) Doucette.
Dear brother to Leroy Doucette (Kathleen), DeBlois, Helen McKenna (Roy), St. Louis, Dennis Doucette (Brenda), DeBlois, Eileen Doucette/ Connors (Roger), Mill River, Joan Doucette (Jim Sutton, Caledonia.
He is also survived by brothers-in-law Cyrus Bernard and Joe Martell as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by parents Alphy and Marguerita, sisters Edna Martell, Ida McInnis and Velda Bernard, nieces Paulette Bernard, Shirley Martell and nephew Norman Doucette.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road.
Due to health restrictions currently in place, there will be no public viewing. Private funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road.
Interment in the church cemetery.
