The death occurred peacefully at her home in Tignish with her loving husband, Joe by her side of Holly Mary (née Perry) Gallant on Monday, April 14, 2025. Born at Western Hospital on September 28, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Irma (née Harper)and the late John W. Perry of Tignish.

A lifelong resident of Tignish, Holly and Joe raised five boys, of whom she was

incredibly proud: Joel (Laura) of Port Hill, Jarrett (Sarina) of Castlegar, BC, David(Jenna) of East Bideford, Dominic (Stacey) of Ellerslie, and Curran of Fort McMurray,AB. Holly was also blessed with ten grandchildren: Alexandra, William, Grace, Raya,Perry, Palmer, Taylor, Liam, Owen, and Lena.

Holly was a dear sister to the late Herbie (Lois), and Harley (Arlene), Hal (Brenda),Hilary, Heidi, and Harris. She was also a cherished sister-in-law to Irene (Billy) Myers,Wilfred Gallant, Edie (Neil) LeClair, Jerry Gallant, and the late Barry Gallant.

To Holly, family was everything. She remembered every birthday, every milestone, every little detail that made her loved ones feel special. Her five boys were her greatest pride and joy – no mother could have loved more fiercely or celebrated more fully. And Joe,her loving partner in life, stood by her through everything, living out their vows with quiet strength and unwavering love, right to the very end.

Holly never missed a chance to celebrate an accomplishment or to pull off a

goodhearted prank. In that way, she will never be forgotten as these same traits can be found in her siblings, her boys, and her beloved grandchildren. We will forever miss her infectious laugh and the way she balanced her tough-as-nails attitude with unwavering compassion.

In her younger years, Holly was a talented athlete, most notably hockey and softball. Her love of sports and fierce competition was passed to her sons and are now being nurtured in her grandchildren. Always eager to hear how every game went, where their games had taken them, and new skills learned.

Besides her parents, Holly was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Delores Gallant; her brother, Herbie; and her brother-in-law Barry Gallant.

She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will deeply mourn her passing
