Hazel Richard

The death occurred peacefully at Maplewood Manor, surrounded by family, on Wednesday August 28th of Hazel Richard formally of Burton aged 88.

Hazel was the daughter of the late Justin and Mildred(Perry) McCarthy of Burton.

Cherished mother to Sheila(Melvin) Ellsworth.

Loving Grandmother to Shelley(John), Jeff(Amanda), and Krista(Jeff). Loving Great Grandmother to Emma, Max, Macie, Tommy, Caleb and Chloe.

Left to mourn are her siblings, Jean, Joanne(Pat), Charlie(Helen), Sandra(AJ), Norman(Andrea),and Mary(Eric). Also by in-laws Morgan Ellsworth and Rosalie McCarthy.

Also Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Justin and Mildred, step-mother Bertha McCarthy, and siblings Irene, Reg, Joe, Betty, Peggy and Stella. Also by in-laws Garfield Ellis, Clarence Clements, John Potter, and Vincent Gallant.

Hazel was a loving person who loved to laugh and have fun, and was considered by her family as a professional Newfie Bingo Player.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd. No public viewing by family request.

Funeral will take place on Monday September 2nd at 4:00pm, at St Mark's Church, Burton.

Officiant is Fr. Praveen.

Interment in St. Marks Cemetery following the service.
