Gaytane Christine Gallant

The death occurred peacefully with her family and friends by her side at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton,Wednesday March 1st of Gaytane Gallant(known as Gay or Mag to her closest friends)aged 70 years.Beloved wife of Wayne Gallant of Miminegash. Born on April 27,1952, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Viola (Hustler) Ramsay of O'Leary

Proud Mother of Todd(Lynn) Gallant,Tignish. Crystal(Scott) Matheson, Montrose, Cindy (Trevor) Skerry,Northport and Carla(Jordan) Stewart, Blue Shank Road.

Loving Meme/Gram to Connor,Tonisha,Chelsey,Ethan, Alexie, Kailee, Lucas and Caleb.

Great Grand-mother to Zayna and Leon.

Survived by brothers and sisters, Geraldine(late Hughie)Ryan, Rena(Marvin) Jackson, Patricia (Roy)Peters, Lorne (Phyllis)Ramsay, Judy(late Alton) Jones and Irving Ramsay.

Also survived by Brothers and sisters-in-law, Marie (Gerald) Donaher, Betty(Melvin Hayward) Gallant, Stephen(Cathy) Gallant and Josie(Jerry) Jeffery.

Predeceased by her parents Harry and Viola(Hustler) Ramsay, Mother and father in law Edmund and Agnes(Thibodeau) Gallant and a sister in infancy. Also by brother and Sister in laws, Hughie, Harry, Edward, Alton, Jean, Melvin, Art, and Freddy.

Special thanks to all the card playing ladies who went out of their way to make sure that Gaytane's love of the game didn't die when getting out of the house became a challenge for her.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson road. No visitation by personal request.

Funeral to take place at the Immaculate Conception Church ,Palmer Road Monday March 6th at 11am. Celebrant Rev. Lazaru.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Childrens Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated as Gaytane's wish was to " give it to the kids"
