Frederick "Freddie" Bernard

Suddenly at the Tignish Seniors Home Care Co-op on Wednesday October 23, 2019 of Frederick “Freddie” Bernard formerly of Palmer Road aged 85 years.

Husband of the late Mary (Ellsworth) Bernard.

He was born in Palmer Road on January 15, 1934, the son of the late Eddie and Tellie Bernard.

Dear father to Ralph Bernard, Kensington; Wayne Bernard, Tignish and Rodney O’Halloran (Marlene), Palmer Road.

Loving grandfather to Shane Bernard (Amanda), Michael and Megan O’Halloran and great grandfather to Katie, Oliver, Benjamin and Payten.

He is also survived by the Ellsworth’s brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by parents Eddie and Tellie, wife Mary, brother Raymond, sister Mary, mother and father-in-law Joseph and Edna Ellsworth.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Friday 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.

Memorial donations to Tignish Seniors Home Care Co-op would be greatly appreciated.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
