The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Thursday February 17, 2022 of Fred J. Gallant of Garden Home, Charlottetown aged 82 years.
He was born in Skinner Pond on March 24, 1940, the son of the late Edmund and Anna (Chaisson) Gallant.
Loving father to Chad Gallant, Charlottetown.
Dear brother to Lorraine Gallant, Kensington, Theresa Doucette (John), North Granville, Ann Marie Matthews (Barry), Summerside.
He is also survived by special nieces and nephews Simonne, Jason, Jonathan, Jennifer, Jeremy, Nicholas, Keith and Bruce.
He was predeceased by parents Edmund and Anna, sister Irma Collicutt, brothers Johnny, Stephen, Victor and brother-in-law Roy Gallant.
Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. No visitation.
Funeral mass will be held Monday February 21, 2022 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish at 10:30 am. Celebrant Rev. John Molina.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Garden Home for excellent care that their brother received during his stay.
Interment will take place at a later date.
