Florence M. Perry

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday April 12, 2008 of Florence Perry, of Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op and formerly of Nail Pond aged 88 years. Wife of the late Fidele J. Perry. She was born in Skinners Pond on July 5, 1919 to the late Peter and Maria (Perry) Doucette. Dear mother of Everett, Nail Pond. Ivan (Angela), Nail Pond; Shirley, Woodvale; Cora (Lester) Gallant; Etta (Russell) Bernard, and Phyllis (Austie) Arsenault all of Nail Pond. Loving grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of Elmer Doucette, Maplewood Manor, Alvin and Reggie Doucette, Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op, Gerard Doucette, Tignish Initiatives, Mae (Eddie) LeClair, Tignish and Dot Doucette, Alberton. She was predeceased by son Lloyd, brother Frankie and sisters Eva and Freda. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral will be held Monday at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery.
