Elmer Martin

The death occurred suddenly at his home, after a long illness, in St.Felix, Tignish of Elmer Martin aged 77. He was the son of the late Clovis and Mary Jane (Gaudet) Martin.

Always to be remembered by his loving wife Muriel(Richard) Martin, and his children, Glen (Carla) Martin, Alberton, Stacy(Joey) Wedge,Tignish, Trevor(Darlene) Martin, Summerside, and Ashley Martin, Summerside.

Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Alicia(Cam), Kyle, Devin, Rease, Tate(Ashley) Maddie Lou, Mannix, Mylee, Gabriel, Chael, Jacob , and Ava, and a great grandchild, Lyra.

He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Melvina (Delsie), Frank(Mary) Brenda(Buddy), Ernest, Stewart(Jane), and inlaws Albert MacWilliams and Ted Myers, also sister in-law Gloria Handrahan, and numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

Elmer was pre-deceased by his parents Clovis and Mary Jane(Gaudet) Martin, and by sisters Lorraine, Norma, Linda and Ilma, as well as his in-laws Camille and Bernice Richard.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd.

Visitation will be Sunday July 12, 2026 from 6:00 to 9:00pm

Funeral will take place Monday July 13,2026 at St.Simon and St.Jude Church, Tignish at 1:00 pm. Fr Tim is officiant.

Memorial donations to the Western Hospital Dialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated.
