Elaine M. Cormier

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday August 3, 2019 of Elaine M. Cormier of Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op and formerly of Waterford aged 87 years.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond Cormier.

She was born in Miminegash on April 30, 1932, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mae (Thibodeau) Gallant.

Dear mother to Pat Cormier (Carmella), Summerside; Marlene Aylward (David), Pleasant View; Marie Arsenault (Jimmy) Pleasant View; Bruce Cormier, Waterford also survived by daughters-in-law Christine Cormier, Thompson Road and Linda Cormier, Waterford.

Loving grandmother to Tammy, Adam, Joey, Dale, Jessica, Mitch, Cory and great grandmother to 10 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by brothers and sisters Myrtle Smith (Hanson); Bobby Gallant; Mary Jones (Donnie), George Gallant (Velda); Phillip Gallant (Stella); Gladys Spin (Mike), Judy Gallant and Ronnie Gallant (late Lorna).

She was predeceased by parents Anthony and Mae, husband Raymond, sons Jimmy and Claude, grandson Shane, brothers Wilbert, Harvey, Freddie and sister Kathleen.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Sunday 6-9 PM and Monday 9-10 AM.

Funeral will be held Monday August 5, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 AM.

Memorial donations to Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op would be greatly appreciated.
