Edward (Eddie) J. Bernard

The death occurred at the Community Hospital, O'Leary on Monday, October 15, 2007 , after a long hard fought battle of Edward (Eddie) Bernard of St. Edward aged 71 years. He was a beloved husband to Lorraine (nee Murray) Bernard. Dear father to Michael (Judy), St. Roche and Dawn (Steven) Thibodeau, St. Edward. Loving grandfather of Michael, Samantha, Mark, Tory, Brittani, Ashly and Tiffany. Brother of Noreen Doucette, Clifford, Norma Arsenault, Lucille Ellsworth, Diane (Valmont) Gaudet and sister-in-law Mary Bernard all of St. Edward, Madeline (Edward) Perry, Leoville and Adrian, Miscouche. He was predeceased by his parents Joshua and Jane Bernard, brother Wilbert and Ben in infancy. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Wednesday 7 - 9 pm and Thursday from 1 - 2:30 pm. Funeral will be held Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 3 pm. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
