Edna M. Gallant

Peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Wednesday December 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family of Edna Gallant, formerly of Ebbsfleet aged 85 years.

Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Gallant.

She was born in St. Edward on April 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Wilfred U. and Eva (Doucette) Gaudet.

Dear mother to Richard (Juanita), O’Leary, Jerry (Sandra), Thompson Road, Theresa Costain (Ernest), O’Leary, Emmanuel, Miminegash, Linda Crossman (Allan), Chelton, Lena MacKinnon (Billy), Stratford.

Loving grandmother to Ricki-Lee, Ashton, Roxanne, Jamie, Mark, Angela, Megan, Matthew, Megan, Adam, Barry, Jessey, Kelsey, Nicholas, Cody, Cassidy and 11 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by siblings Alice Guitare, Alvina Arsenault, (Julien), Helen Cormier (Urban),

Marie Cormier (Frank) and sister-in-law Sylvia Gaudet.

She was predeceased by parents Wilfred and Eva, husband Wilbert, sons Emile and Barry, brothers and sisters Edmond, Edward, Dora Ellsworth, Agnes Costain, brothers-in-law Gordon Costain, John Ellsworth and Douglas Guitare.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. Public visiting hours (Vax Pass & Id required) will be held Friday 6-9 pm. Private funeral for family and invited guests will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road Saturday Dec. 11, 2021 with funeral mass at 10:30 am.
