Edgar P. Perry

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday February 27, 2016 of Edgar P. Perry, Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op and formerly of Skinners Pond aged 91 years.

Husband of the late Noreen (Gallant) Perry.

He was born in Skinners Pond on March 29, 1924, the son of the late Peter and Lucy (Arsenault) Perry.

Dear father to Audrey McDonald, Calgary; Helen Kennedy (Eric), Halifax; Jimmy Perry (Karen), Peter Road; Judy Doucette (Jackie), Harper Road; Donna Marchand (Darren), Halifax; Lorraine Perry (Michael), Alberton and Michael Perry (Dianne), Waterford.

Loving grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by parents Peter and Lucy; brothers Ben, Willie, Leslie, Francis (Doc), Leo, Wilfred, Jack and Louis; sisters Tillie, Mae and Bertha.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road for visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held Wednesday March 2, 2016 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish at 10:30 a.m.. Celebrant Rev. Brendan Gallant.

Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery.
