Donald Joseph Arsenault

The death occurred peacefully with his wife at his side at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS on November 10, 2021 of Donald Joseph Arsenault, Summerside aged 55 years, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Cheryl Arsenault (nee Gallant).

Joey was born in Toronto, ON on December 29, 1965, after which time he began his life in Tignish where he called home. The beloved son of the late Emilda Arsenault and stepfather Alcide Richard.

Dear father to Katrina (Adam) Hutchinson, Kolton Doucette, Kelsey Doucette (Ivan), Caitlen Doucette (Logan) and Julie Gallant (Janelle).

He is survived by his siblings MaryAnna (Richard) Poole, Troy Arsenault (Susan) and Debbie Park (Ashley). His grandchildren Khloe, Hudson, Sophia, Kadence and Lucas, aunt Stella Gallant as well as many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

He is predeceased by mother Emilda, stepfather Alcide and sister Tonya Dean.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. Due to covid restrictions, a public visitation (Vax Pass and photo Id required) will be held Sunday 6-8 pm. Funeral will be held Monday November 15, 2021 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 10:30 am. (By invitations only). Celebrant Rev. John Molina.
