The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside surrounded by family on Saturday Sept. 20, 2014 of Dolores Gallant of Miminegash aged 84 years.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Gallant.

She was born in Pleasant View on August 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Josephine Doucette.

Dear mother to Wilfred Gallant, Miminegash; Irene (Billy) Myers, Palmer Road; Joe (Holly) Gallant, Tignish; Edie (Neil) LeClair, Tignish and Jerry Gallant, Charlottetown.

Loving grandmother to Troy (Trina) Myers, Melanie Myers, Joel (Laura), Jarrett, David, Dominic and Curren Gallant, Sandie Morrisson, Travis and Chris LeClair and Julie (Patrick) McQuaid and great grandmother to Karsen and Brae Myers, Alexandra and William Gallant, Grace and Libby Morrisson.

She is also survived by sisters Eleanor (Chester) Stephien, St. Catherine, Ont., Ellen (Stan) Marcynuk, St. Catherine, Ont. a brother Leroy (Eunice) Gaudet, Pleasant View and a nephew Owen (Carol) Gaudet, Summerside.

She was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Josephine, husband Edward, son Barry, step-father Jerry Gaudet and 6 children in infancy.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road for visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-3:30 p.m.

Funeral will be held Monday September 22, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 4:00 p.m. Celebrant Rev. Albin Arsenault.

Memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception Church Building and Repair Fund would be greatly appreciated.

Interment in the church cemetery.
