The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, surrounded by family of Dolores C. Doucette, formerly of Pleasant View aged 87 years.
Wife of the late Lawrence Doucette.
She was born in Port Hood, Nova Scotia, on April 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Alexander and Flora (Gillis) Batherson.
Dear mother to Glen (Eleanor), Edmonton, Alberta, Paul (Alice), Edmonton, Alberta, Debbie, Pleasant View, Donnie (deceased), David (Deb deceased), Acadia Valley, Alberta, Diane (Edward), St. Roche, James, Pleasant View and Lisa (Ray), Hinton, Alberta.
Loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
She is also survived by siblings Bernice Grandmaison, Gloria MacPherson and Bernard Batherson.
She was predeceased by parents, husband Lawrence, son Donnie, brother Earl, sisters Jean and Dianna.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. Due to Covid19, there will be no public viewing.
Private funeral for family and friends will be held Monday August 17, 2020 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 4 p.m.
Interment in the church cemetery.
