Delores M. Jones

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, surrounded by family, on Thursday November 11, 2021 of Delores Jones, Miminegash aged 92 years.

Wife of the late Robert Jones.

She was born in Miminegash on August 2, 1929, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Doucette) Gallant.

Dear mother to Janie (Glen) McRae, Laurie (Jacinta) Jones, Mary (Danny) Arsenault, Angela (Michael) Callaghan, Eva Jones, Robert (Wendy) Jones, Bernadine (Angus) Handrahan, Susan (Paul) Gaudet.

Loving grandmother to Stacy, Cheryl, Davy, Kirk, Benji, Janie, Alex, Krista, Jeannie, James, Fallon, Andrew, Jake, Robert, Brittany, Brad, Matthew, Chloe, Demi and John as well as 27 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by parents Joseph and Mary Jane, brothers Edward, Leo, Elmer, sisters Eva, Edna, Angelina, Olive and Lena.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. Due to Covid restrictions, a public visitation (Vax Pass and photo id required) will be held Monday evening from 7-9 pm. Funeral will be held Tuesday November 16, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 2 p.m. (By invitations Only)
