It is with great sadness that Delima has passed away on Dec.19,2022. She was born in DeBlois ,PEI on March 22,1935 to the late Bazil and Fidelis(Arsenault)Bernard. She was a loving mother to her Daughter Diane of Dartmouth N.S and Nanny to her furbaby Brady, who she loved with all her heart. Predeceased by her husband Gilles(Bernie) Bernard.

Delima loved spending time with friends and family, bingo, cooking and baking, and was amazing at sewing and made many beautiful quilts. She loved to dance ,play guitar and sing along. In later years she took up painting and gardening. She welcomed many into her home with the phrase 'help yourself and make yourself at home'.

She is survived by her siblings Leona(late Donnie), Delia(late Willie), Vincent(Sheila), Barb(Moe), Velda(Ted), and sister-in-law Stephana. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Gilles(Bernie), brothers, Melvin(late Theresa), Raymond, Austin, William , Leonard and sister Mae.

Special thanks to Sandra and Chad Keough and Stephana Bellefontaine for making sure all her needs were met and going above and beyond with such love. Delima was also a second mother to and shared a special bond with David Lyle who will miss her greatly.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral home, 522 Thompson Rd. Funeral will be held January 21st at 1:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Church ,Palmer Road.
