Debbie Ruth Rayner

With great sadness the family announces the death of Debbie Ruth Rayner (Charlton), aged 59, of North Bedeque, PEI on Thursday November 9, 2023. Her brave battle with cancer ended peacefully in the Palliative Care unit at the Prince County Hospital cared for by the compassionate staff and with her family at her bed side.

Debbie was born in Timmins, Ontario to her late father Frank and mother Ruth Charlton (Barton). She will be greatly missed by her husband Bruce Rayner; children Scott (Marlie) Rayner, Katelyn (Tyrone) Blundell; Alex (Linda) Rayner; and father-in-law Lloyd Rayner.

Debbie cherished her grandchildren, Timothy Rayner, Logan Blundell, Lincoln Blundell, Eliya Blundell, Taylor Rayner, and Avery Rayner.

Beloved sister of Darlyne (Ian) Pearson; Geoffrey (Mindy) Charlton; Sandra (Kent) Walsh; Sheila (Mike) Walsh. Also many nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends are grieving her loss.

She was predeceased by her father Frank and sister Melanie as well as mother-in-law Irene Rayner (Ellsworth), and brothers-in-law Doug Rayner and Thane (Lynn) Rayner.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on November 25, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 20 Taylor Rd., Summerside.
