David J. Poirier

The death occurred suddenly at the home of his parents of David Poirier, Ebbsfleet aged 47 years. Born in Iserlahn, Germany on January 22, 1961, he was the son of John Joseph and Barbara (McKenna) Poirier. Dear brother to Joanne (Don) Darrell, Ottawa; Deborah (Glen) Parsons, St. Johns, NF and Cathy (Sylvain) Roy, Winnipeg. He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews Jennifer (Dale) Harper, Norway; Angela Parsons, Berwick, N.S.; Grant Parsons, Red Deer, Alberta; Melanie and Patrick Roy, Halifax, N.S.; Joby Darrell, Ottawa and Jarret (Michelle) Darrell, Halifax, N.S. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Thursday afternoon 2-4 pm for the family and 7-9 pm for the public. Funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
