The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Tuesday December 29, 2015 of Cecil J. Arsenault, Anglo Tignish aged 67 years.
He was born in DeBlois on January 4, 1948, the son of the late Albert and Olive (Peters) Arsenault.
Dear father to Craig Arsenault (Kim), Palmer Road, grandfather to Latesha and Martina and great-grandfather to Rhylynn.
He is survived by brothers and sisters Marie (Kevin) DesRoches, Anglo; Linda (Fred) Doucette, Skinner Pond; (late Jeannette) Eugene Doucette, Nail Pond; Connie Carragher (late Eric), Tignish; Wesley (Janet) Arsenault, St Edward; Austie (Phyllis) Arsenault, Nail Pond; Andrew (Angie) Arsenault, Charlottetown; Brian Arsenault, Tignish and Joe (Anne) Arsenault, Anglo and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by parents Albert and Olive; Andrea Gallant; Romey Gavin.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road.
No visiting hours as a personal request.
Funeral will be held Saturday January 2, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.
Cremated remains will be interred in the church cemetery.
