June 27, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bradford Joseph Doucette, who passed away suddenly at Prince County Hospital on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born in St. Edward’s, October 21, 1938 , Prince Edward Island, Bradford was the beloved son of the late John and Evelyn (Arsenault) Doucette. He later made his home in Rosebank, where he built a life centered on family, faith, hard work, and kindness.
Bradford leaves behind his devoted wife, Alice, with whom he shared many happy years and countless adventures. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Arlene (Gary) Chaisson, Debbie Doucette, Holly (Tyler) Doucette, Cody (Sam) Doucette. Step-children, Monica (Dave) Morrison, and Darryl (Tammy) Easter.
He was a proud grandfather to Aaron, Greg, Thish, Cory, Gina, Sarah, Cameron, Marlee Faye, Tanner, Taylor, Alex, and Ashton, and was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Bradford is survived by his sister, Eileen (Frank), his in-laws Maria Tarcela and Ronaldo Castillo, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Evelyn (Arsenault) Doucette; his stepmother, Anna Doucette; his former wife, Faye MacWilliams; his brothers and sisters Freddie (Eva), Louis (Joan), and Helen (Wilfred); and his in-laws Benigno and Catalina Castillo, sister and brother in law, Maria Lourdes Madayag, and Romeo Castillo.
Bradford was truly a man of many talents. A lifelong fisherman and man of the sea, he also loved woodworking and could fix or build just about anything. He was a gifted musician and proudly played with Brad and the Po Boys, bringing music and laughter wherever he went.
Above all, Bradford will be remembered for his kind and generous heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his quiet acts of kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
His Catholic faith was the foundation of his life and guided him in the way he treated others—with compassion, humility, and love.
