The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Sunday December 5, 2021 of Barry Bernard of Oyster Bed, PEI aged 56 years.
He was born in Montreal on June 22, 1965, the son of Clifford Bernard, St. Edward and the late Velda (Doucette) Bernard.
Dear father to April (Colby), Jennifer (Adam) and Zackery) (Emma).
Loving grandfather to Tatum, Tinsley and Christopher.
He is also survived by brothers and sister Ritchie (Donna), Brian (Laura) and Deborah.
He was predeceased by his mother Velda, nephew Christopher, cousin Dwayne, grandparents Joshua and Jane Bernard and Joseph and Beatrice Doucette.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. No visiting hours as a personal request. Private funeral for family and invited guests will be held Wednesday Dec. 8, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 1 pm.
Memorial donations to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
Interment in the church cemetery.
