The death occurred peacefully at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Saturday January 8, 2022 of Auldine Bernard, formerly of Tignish aged 86 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gerard Bernard.
She was born in Myrick Shore on October 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Cyril and Edna (DesRoches) Gaudet.
Loving mother to Donna Bernard (Andrew), Tignish. Dear grandmother to Craig McInnis (Krista), Chris McInnis, Coulton Bernard (Jasmin) and great grandmother to Molly and Max McInnis.
She is also survived by brothers and sisters Nelson, Kathleen (Leroy), Austie (Velda), Theresa (Norman), Velda (Ronald), Shirley, Irene, Leonard (Audrey), Austina, Norma Ann (Rick), Doreen (Claude), Debbie (Henry) and Sandra as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by parents Cyril and Edna, husband Gerard and a sister Eunice.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. Funeral will be held at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish at a later date.
