Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary surrounded by family of Arthur J. Doucette, Pleasant View aged 81 years.

Beloved husband of Ada (Peters) Doucette.

He was born in Pleasant View on April 18, 1941, the son of the late Meddie and Lucy Doucette.

Dear father to Debbie Gallant (Joey), Alberta; Darryl Doucette (Betsy Lou), Piusville; Michelle Costain (Rodney), Campbellton; Connie Doucette, Coleman and Bruce Doucette, Pleasant View.

Loving grandfather to Heather Doucette, Jessica Leard, Brett and Tisha Doucette, Travis, Kaylee and Taylor Costain, Jeremy, Sarah, Samantha, Shawna, Brandon and Tanner Doucette and 14 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by brother and sisters Edna Jones, Wilfred (Eileen) Doucette, Evelyn Myers, Lucille Richard, sister-in-law Julia Doucette and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by parents Meddie and Lucy, son Ricky, granddaughter Amy Gallant, brothers Freddie, Larry, Melvin, sisters-in-law Joan and Delores, brothers-in-law Andrew Jones, Ronald Myers and Francis Richard.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road. No visiting hours as a personal request. Funeral mass will be held Saturday April 23, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 am.

Interment at a later date in the church cemetery.
