The death occurred at the Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Wednesday April 1, 2015 of Arnold J. Gaudet, formerly of Tignish aged 83 years.
He was born in Skinner Pond on June 18, 1931, the son of the late Alphonse and Ethel (Arsenault) Gaudet.
Dear father to JoAnn (Wayne) Gaudet, St. Felix; Donna (Kris) Gaudet, Richmond, B.C.; Debbie (Patrick/Pappy) Gallant, Miminegash; Janice (Lenny) Lachnit, Niagara Falls; Blair (Marcella) Gaudet, Tignish; Dale (Faye) Gaudet, St. Felix and Rene (Michelle) Gaudet, Nail Pond.
Loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Ethel, sons Alden and Randy, mother of his children Evelyn, brothers and sisters Clifford, James, Major, Violet and Vera.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Saturday April 4, 2015 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish at 10:30 a.m.
Memorial donations to Maplewood Manor Residents Equipment Fund or Dementia Society would be greatly appreciated.
