Anaes J. Doucette

The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Friday April 11, 2008 of Anaes Doucette, Alberton aged 77 years. Husband of the love of his life Eleanor Doucette nee Gallant. He was born in Miminegash on May 18, 1931 to the late Edmond and Julia Wedge) Doucette. Dear father of John Alfred, Stoney Creek, Ont.; his angel Mary Joanne (Eugene) Van Bergen, Hamilton, Ont.; Joseph Wade (Lily), Hamilton, Ont. and Melvin (Jim), Summerside. Loving grandfather of his precious grandchildren Candace Van Bergen and Jessica, Dustin and Ashley Doucette. Brother of Greta (the late Henry Thibodeau), Charlottetown, Patrick (Jean), Summerside, Winston (Thelma), O'Leary and Carl (Nicky), Miminegash. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Basil Chaisson and Melvin Gallant and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Edmond and Julia, brothers KIA WW2 Alfred, KIA WW2 Melvin, Ralph, twins brothers in infancy, sisters Bernetta, Elva and infant sister Alfreda. Relatives and friends can meet with the family on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road. A memorial mass will be held Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 am. Memorial donations to Oncology Dept.
